Yes, they did. They were nicely done, but very stiff, like a hard plastic backing.

I have a true Chromaflex XLIX patch and the difference is huge.

I was never able to find a true Chromaflex XLVIII patch.

Spent a lot of days trying to find one..He finally got it but
nowadays I don't think you'll find one unless you buy a
jersey from the game itself.

I never did find one off eBay...I still check regularly to this day. I thought there would be some game-worn XLVIII Broncos jerseys I could at least rip the patch off of but strangely none have surfaced. I am blessed to have the real thing thanks to Neal. Still waiting for its proper home in a frame hanging on my Man Cave that still eludes me.

I have one of Swedish' made...Material is completely different but the concentric lines are the closest I have seen in any reproduction.

Panini sold all game used Broncos stuff at a premium. A generic player went for $500-750.
A super bowl? They never sold any.

I saw this thread got bumped back in March, so forgive me for bring up years old stuff, but I finally found Chromaflex Super Bowl 48 and 49 patches on ebay in the adult/authentic size. I've been checking in on this over the last few years. Not sure I've ever posted here but long time fan, season ticket holder, and jersey collector. I was ecstatic as with many of you, I've been looking for Authentic versions since 2014. I just received them in the mail and they appear to be legit. They also had Super Bowls 48-52, which made me feel more assured. They appear to be the "retail" versions that came pre-appiled to game level jerseys back in the day. They are sightly different than what was worn on field in both 2014 and 2015. What I call the "retail" versions don't have the lines in the in the Lombardi Trophy and letters but are the Chromaflex material. I've posted pictures of the on field patches as applied by STT Sprots, then below that pictures of what came in the mail. The patch on the far right is an on field from SB 49 that I was able to get years ago. You can see the difference in detail side by side but also how they compare size wise. Links to the auctions are below. Time to send my jerseys off to be completed. Go Hawks
