The question ultimately becomes, how much are we willing to pay for the real patch? I would never wear the jersey that comes with it, but the real patch I want really bad.

I'm looking to trade my extra "retail" version of SB XLVIII for the "player's version" of SB XLIX
Just got around to comparing the two patches.
One placed on the wrong side of a "game" jersey by Nike.
This was a gift from my mother.
And one that I purchased on eBay. The one from eBay is a chromaflex patch, no doubt in my mind. However look closely and it's very easy to see that the eBay patch is a little smaller. I suspect that maybe these were put on "youth" sized jerseys but I have no proof of that.
Either way, it's a nice patch, worth the price and I wouldn't hesitate to put it on a custom jersey to wear myself.
The eBay patch is laid on top of the Nike placed patch.

Cool find. I had no idea there was more than one size/version of the Nike chromaflex patch. Happy to have mine on a white Wilson jersey on the left breast no less!
I still do a face palm whenever I think about how could Nike screw up the quality and placement of the SB jersey patch.

The patches that Zornto has are most likely the smaller version that I showed pictures of.
I'm fairly certain they came from the same eBay seller.
They are nice and I would use them. Just be aware of the size difference.
If it's a huge issue for you, ask him to measure.

The XLVIII chromaflex patches that were recently sold on ebay all seem to by the youth/women's jersey sized patch. Mine is too. Also, I spoke in depth with the ebay seller and have the back story on how he got them. PM me if interested.

Yes. That jersey is nice. Funny, you have no issue buying it for close to $1000 but yet sell something you got for free.
