1. Seattle (10-1). Tough call for No. 1. Seattle, New England, Carolina, Denver and New Orleans in contention. There is no runaway. This week it’s Seattle. Could be the most rested Monday night game ever in a week. Saints (11 days off) at ’Hawks (14 days off). With the suspension of Walter Thurmond keeping him out the next four games, and the groin injury to Brandon Browner keeping him out at least that long, Seattle will need Byron Maxwell, a third-year dime back from Clemson, to step up in the next four weeks. No problem! ’Hawks just have Drew Brees, Colin Kaepernick, Eli Manning and Carson Palmer on the horizon.

What's his point at the end of that paragraph? That the Seahawks actually have a pretty easy schedule when it comes to accurate QBs... (besides Brees, obviously.)

Sarcasm my man, sarcasm. He's trying to point out that our additionally weakened secondary has some pretty tough QB's coming up on the schedule. Although I think it's more a matter of the WR's they have to face.

The Eagles should be ahead of the Cowboys. So...

5. Eagles
6. Cowboys
7. Ravens

Too predictable!

Broncos should not move behind the Saints with an overtime loss to the Pats in Foxboro, while the Saints barely escaped with a win against the only team in the NFL that is mathematically eliminated from the playoffs. They will sure have fun pumping up this MNF game as a matchup of the 2 best teams in the league!

ESPN is the last bastion of journalistic integrity. They would never resort to any sort of tactic that was designed to promote their own programming rather than objectively covering sports news.

It's sarcasm. He's saying Maxwell will be tested over the next four weeks with those QB's. Not sure bout Eli, he looked pretty damn awful Sunday.
