So when lockett is gone we have no wrs. Which is soon. That's not a plan
We can get other things for him probably higher than his draft position initially, he is a stud with no brain, somebody will take him and he will have great games and really bad games for someone else. If we could get a 1st and a 3rd for him I am reasonably sure we can find a replacement for him.

Trade DK? You guys are unreal. Did he almost cost the team the game? Yes. Did he? No. Fortunately. Will he next time? I have no idea. But he's a young passionate player who gives it his all whether it's passing or blocking, or having to make a tackle, every play. He's one of the top players at his position. Comparing him to AB who only cared about himself is asinine. DK is the penultimate team player who at times let's his emotions get the best of him. It's a good thing he has the right coach in Pete who is one of the best players coach there is. Use this moment as a lesson to teach the young man. Not trade him for Malik McDowell and a few mid rounders.

You talking about trading a known commodity for a question mark. Look at what the titans did. And we are not good at wr w probably a new qb sometime soon. Sounds like a terrible plan

the DK dislike and Bashing is amusing. If it’s not Barton for the .net whipping boy it’s DK.

1) DK was standing up for his QB. Get over it.
2) His presence on the field has to be defensively schemed for.

3) Y’all want a whipping boy? Okay. Walker looked like shit a lot of the game as well. Missing gaps, talked for loss, Poor reads.. and a continued trend.. Blown or halfassed blocks. He can’t block to save his life and utterly sucks ass at it. Half the time he ignores the defender he should be blocking and it becomes a free runner at Geno.

And then what? Geno has to just get rid of it thanks to Walker.

If you don't see the obvious holes in DKs game, it's because you don't want to...

Pete can say all he wants to him, DK has done this for 4 seasons and not learned a thing.

I think this is a case where you could get back more than what a player is worth.

The huge difference here is that Walker is a rookie and he's not making much. DK Metcalf has now been in the league for 4 years and is getting paid a 100 million dollar contract. You also don't see Walker doing stupid extra-curricular activities on the field during crucial moments in the game.

I don't care if he was "standing up for his QB" he could have cost the team BIG. Was he standing up for his QB when he lingered on the field to trash talk Ramsey's while they were trying to set up a field goal? No, he was standing up for his own fragile ego.

He's only had two games over 100 yards this season, his disappeared completely in many of our games. He still is making some really dumb unforced mental errors after his fourth year in the league.

I'm sorry, but DK is not a big time receiver in the NFL and he comes with headaches. He's 20th in yards, he's tied with multiple guys for 22nd in touchdowns, 15th in overall targets, not even in the top 30 in 20+ yard plays, 21st in 40+ yard plays, one of the lower yards/average in the NFL this season.

The dude is has definitely earned "whipping boy" status considering his contract and behavior on the field.

In a year where they think they can compete, I don’t think Carroll would trade DK.

One, it sets the QB position back.

Two, you have an aging Lockett.

Lockett, is still great but he needs some help.

You gotta really be confident in your abilities to draft a stand out wide receiver if you let DK go.

If you can get a haul, it would have to be a good haul, and it would have to pay immediate dividends.
You dont have to draft a stud wr because some analyst says that is were they need to be drafted. You find the guys who want to work hard and are commited to being special. Those guys are found every where by not putting a limit on it with age. The coaches set the expectation and they obviously dont push dk enough.

Witj dks physically ability and size he should be dominating corners. He doesnt. Only catches unconested balls and struggles to do that consistently.

Dk was great today
DK caught a deep pass because the corner tripped when he was intially in stride. It worked out for the seahawks. Dk caught a pass in the mid of a zone wide open. Dk did not have a great game but made it work instead.
