I didn't realize how desperate Pats fans are not to face a full strength D.

Gillette stadium cheered when Mason Crosby kicked that FG to send it to overtime.

Said it all.

Earl Thomas himself posted an article talking about how great it felt to knock Eddy Lacy into a bench using his injured shoulder. Eddy Lacy. The Patriots don't have anyone that big on their entire team.

To be fair, WilNOTPUTDOWNfork is the size of 8 Eddy Lacys.

No, wait...it's officially up to 9.

It is too bad that both teams are not 100% healthy. Just part of the game though.

obviously Thomas will still have his range and can knock away balls 1 handed. Where this might effect him the most is since he can't wrap up he might have a hard time bringing Gronk down if it comes down to that specific 1 on 1 match up in the open field.

I think Seattle is going to plan for that not to happen of course but you never know how the plays will unfold and can't always control it.

And what about this? Sherman has a torn ligament?

Are the Seahawks properly reporting their injuries?

IDK are the Pat's properly reporting that they've been paying the ball boy extra money since 2007 to sneak into the bathroom before each game an empty exactly 2psi from each of their 12 balls? Your turn 50 year old Patsie..

LOL. You think the Pats pay him extra for that? Don't you know how cheap the NFL is? They made replacement refs call plays for a month to save a few extra 100,000. They aren't gonna pay that ball boy. (Hope they don't lose him in FA though).

50yr you're a native speaker of English so we have to assume you know you're not posting new developments. This article is no information at all, it's someone trying to get attention by posting his opinion that he thinks Thomas' shoulder popped out. Based on a video.
And then, as I pointed out earlier, you ignored the substance of article when the author said Thomas would be effective.
Then you claim Sherman having a tear is a new development but that's what a sprain is. Everyone knows that.

As far as "properly reporting injuries".. Coming from a Pats fan that is a laugh. No team abuses the injury report rules like the Pats.

What you're all missing is how much an effect adrenaline has. Thomas is a warrior to begin with. Couple that with playing not just any game, but the biggest of all, and once that adrenaline gets pumping he won't feel a thing. He'll hurt like a mother effer afterwards but he'll be fine at game time.

That's just another way for Belichick to cheat. They list a half dozen players as "questionable," even though none of those players has any chance of not playing. So when a player is actually "questionable" due to injury, their opponents have little way of knowing from the injury report.

Brady was listed as probable with a shoulder injury for something like 10 years straight. They've changed up in the last two years but they used to list about 1/3 of their roster as injured.

Now it's a chronic ankle injury for Brady. It won't go away til the day he retires.

This reminds me of Gronk in the last Pats Super Bolw. He played but not much of a factor.

Not worried in the least. Earl at 50% is more than enough!

No offense, but no it's not.

This is the Super Bowl. All flipping hands on deck to prepare for the toughest game of the year.

The toughest.

hes fine. the sit down lacy hit actually fixed his shoulder

See this link 50yrpatsfan ? That's Earl Thomas. Playing injured. That guy he almost takes out to get to Lacy ? That's KJ Wright, a 6'4" 250 lb LBer that was almost collateral damage.

Thomas has the best range of any FS in the NFL. He doesn't use his shoulder for that.

He hit Lacy that hard, yet he was the first one to get up and start jumping around. This is blind hope by you that Thomas and Sherman can't go. Both played and played at a high level immediately after being injured during the game. Sherman is so damned good that Rodgers didn't try him even though he was obviously hurt. You know, Aaron Rodgers, the QB that has three times the arm strength of your BFF Tom Brady.

You're obviously a raging Pats homer, but even if Thomas does have a torn labrum (and it's likely), there's tons of variance in the degree of tear. To give you an example, the reason we got Michael Bennett (our stud DE/DT) for so cheap was that he had a torn labrum. He decided to play through the injury his first year, then it healed up with no need for surgery.

These are the type of warriors we have on our team. You Pats fans keep whining about how you're not Denver and things will be different. Problem is, it's all the same narrative. Imagine a slightly worse Baltimore Ravens DL with much better LBers. Then add to that a secondary that's 10 times as fast, 10 times as ferocious, and infinitely more skilled and cerebral than that Ravens secondary. Your team didn't even attempt to run at the Ravens.

This is what's coming for you. Link all you want. Wish all you want. Your team is about to be curb stomped.

None of the Pats were a factor in their last Super Bowl.

Earl will be though.
