Maybe those Texans are looking a little bit more beatable than everyone seemed to be predicting in their season record posts...

or maybe its that first game, on the road, West Coast 7:30pm game, perfect San Diego weather... wait.

Haha, Berman: that's Charlie Whitehurst, backup QB. Looks like a French painter, but whatever.

Best line of the night.

Thought Houston was better than this.

Amusing watching that Rivers run .

Big call, looked like it was too close to overturn.

I REALLY like the Allen hire too. I liked both the hires out of Denver.

I'm batting .500 it appears...

What an odd play call for HOU at the end of that half.

Didn't they just get that review wrong? Andre Johnson had 2 feet down before his elbow hit out of bounds...

Looked the foot drag was before he had possession.

Home field advantage is the referees having a slight cognitive bias towards the home team. It's pressure from the fans, power of suggestion stuff.

At least that's what I read on the Internet once. Something about visiting teams tending to be penalized more often and having close calls go against them.

I've spent the off-season telling a Broncos fan friend of mine that the Chargers are underrated, and to watch out for them. I plan to text him no less than three times throughout the day tomorrow reminding him. :D

Yeah, any Bronco's fan spewing confidence isn't paying attention. I like the Chiefs a lot and I think the Chargers are improved.

Random thought: Any of you guys ever seen what Chargers 1st rounder DJ Fluker looks like? If you haven't it's just bizarre. He looks like a cartoon character Bill Cosby created.

No you weren't. Dumb call. If nothing else it was too close to overturn.
