As long as Carolina doesn't trade he will be available. Carolina already picked a LB this draft.

Cedric Gray still available, ranked #2 currently on ESPN's "Best Available" list overall.

Further down the list (in order of best available) is Jeremiah Trotter Jr (Which I'm surprised, because he was mocked to be a first round draft pick during most of last season), Curtis Jacobs, Edefuan Ulofoshio, Nathaniel Watson, Jaylan Ford, Jordan Magee, Tyrice Knight, Tatum Bethune, Michael Barrett (Michigan, could be a sleeper pick in a later round), Tommy Eichenberg

Cedric Gray doesn't strike me as a Macdonald type of LB.

I still think Jordan MaGee is the ideal LB for Mac. Fast, rangy, green dot, and can blitz the hell out of the QB.
