    Listening now. Pete's comment regarding the 4 and 1 call (instead of a field goal) focused on getting the team going with a spark, and not giving the ball back to Atlanta's offense. Seems to me that it's a statement more about the defense not being able to stop Atlanta then sparking our offense....

    Tarkenton meets Wilson

    How cool is that! Growing up I was a Tarkenton fan when he was first drafted by the Vikings then when he played for the Giants. He had an uncanny sense of when he was about to be mauled by the defense then wiggle out of danger.

    Awesome 12th Man Send-off

    Just got back from the 12th man send off on 188th. Several hundred fans in team colors. Tons of flags. Blitz in attendance, too. Great mojo. The vibe was awesome when the three team buses came by. They slowed down as they passed the crowd. My kids LOVED it!

    Agreed. Our D line has to push in order to delay and stop Ryan passing the ball. We will get our sacks...pressure from our down lineman for sure. Ryan has some great tools at the LOS, but we are not afraid to play press coverage with our D line wrecking havoc.

    X factor(s).... Browner. He showed his rust last week and needs to be sharper. Trufant in the nickel package. He can be beat by speed and needs to play with veteran savy. Wagner. Covering Gonzalez across the middle where we seem to be porous.

    I think folks are nervous owing to how we won the Redskins game. The 14 1st quarter points spooked me. Sure, we rallied and prevailed, but Atlanta is a different team, and healthy. I like our chances against Atlanta, just saying....
