He's seeing what he wants to see.Assuming this is a troll but who knows
I enjoy this take!Murphy slipping outside of the top ten is going to be considered the shock of the draft a year from now.
Not a troll. Been on this board for 14 years now100% troll imo. Trolls can starve
DT's don't need to have a ton of sacks to be effective. Murphy is a disruptor and was the main cog in Texas's defense. The guy is good in every facet of the defensive line. Need him to be a space eater? He can do that, want him to rush the passer? He can do that too.He only has 5 sacks? What's special with this guy?
A disruptive wrecking ball and the center piece of Macs defense. So, what are we getting in Byron Murphy II? Not familiar with his game and what he brings.
You're assuming they had trade offers though. Can't trade down if there is no one to trade with.Troy Fautanu or Dallas Turner. Much much better prospects.
They could've gotten Murphy after 20. Complete waste. Disappointing.
Rooting for him, but this is yet another concerning pick by Schneider
I'm leaning that way too.Reach. Poor man's Aaron Donald.
Tons of better prospects on the board. Short arms.
Not surprising to see Schneider get cute and completely blow it. Unnacceptable.
Reed and Hankins can play 1 and 2 down. Murphy wasn't drafted to stop the run. Let him get after the QB.Mac must be very, very happy. Rotating Murphy with Hankins and Reed on the inside ensures run defense becomes stout.
Murphy can rotate with Reed/Hankins or even with D. Jones. There are plenty of snaps whether as a nose or as a three tech.Reed and Hankins can play 1 and 2 down. Murphy wasn't drafted to stop the run. Let him get after the QB.
Just look at what the Vikings gave to the Jags....I wouldn't have traded down if that was the type of trade offers that were coming the Seahawks direction. You're assuming they had trade offers though. Can't trade down if there is no one to trade with.
