Meteorologist just said there is a chance. A CHANCE. Oh my goodness that would be awesome. Have a nice fire on a cold night with a cold beer and watch my Seahawks do their thing. What do you think?

That would be great if was confined to a ten mile radius around the stadium, it's the other 495 miles of the commute that are the real pain in the ass.

Sounds awesome. I think last snow game in seattle was also monday night against green bay. I think Shaun racked up 200. Or actually, I think I stand corrected. Was also against Favre as a jet in holmgrens last home game

I'm a bit of a weather geek and had a big ol post typed up earlier today about this but ultimately deleted it mainly due to the fact that its far enough out that anything can still happen, yet it's close enough that it deserves mention as well.

Right now it could go either way as for snow or rain, and of course how much moisture or cold air is here by game time is anyone's guess but the main takeaway is that it's gonna be chilly and there could be moisture in the air. A couple things I wouldn't bet on, a huge snowstorm (at least not for Monday, but the week is looking interesting) or bitter cold.

This is from the Seattle NWS:

THEN NEARLY A 50 PERCENT CHANCE OF AN MODIFIED ARCTIC BLAST
INTO THE AREA LATE SUN NIGHT OR MONDAY OF NEXT WEEK. THE 18Z GFS
SHOWS A 1055 MB HIGH OVER THE YUKON DROPPING S ON MON FOR GOOD
ARCTIC OUTFLOW THROUGH THE FRASER GAP AND VERY COLD CONDITIONS
SPREADING SOUTH ACROSS THE AREA DURING THE DAY ON MON.

As they say "I'll be monitoring this situation very closely".

Clink is down at sea/sound level, it's going to have to be much colder then the other parts of the city.

The Fraser river valley is generally the funnel that directs the arctic blasts down toward here, so ... cool.

Like the cold.

I see many posters here who are hoping for a snow game have very little experience attending a week night game in the snow. It is an absolute fing nightmare.

I think it a novel idea to ponder, but I sure hope it doesn't happen. My second thought after "cool" was "this could be a recipe for injuries". I'll pass, Mother Nature.

if it snows I think the Hawks should wear all white uniforms. Russell Wilson will blend into the snow like camoflauge and no Saints will have any idea where he is.

The only problem I had was taking the Sounder for the Jets game; it was packed like the front row of a concert and stuck on the tracks for some reason I can't remember for about an hour just outside the stadium. And then some other delay waiting for them to arrive on the way back. All that to save a few bucks on gas and parking...F that, I'll drive every time now if it's going to snow. Had zero problems heading back home after that one.

A domed team from the south playing in the snow would be hilarious.

I remember a song from the 70s about this..."slip sliding away, slip sliding awayyayaayy, if your near your destination slip sliding awayyy. " Only meant for the Saints players tho..he he he
P.S. I had a spin in my car on the way to Utah one year in the area of Jackpot. I hit the middle slush on my side of 93 and spun 2 rounds and ended up on the opposite side of the road on the edge. Glad I stopped. It was kinda steeep off the edge. I was in my old 87 Lebaron. I had lunch and nerve reducer in Jackpot at the main casino there.

I want it to rain. I think that gives us our best advantage.

Me too...40 yard bombs from Wilson to virtually anyone in our receiving corps! :th2thumbs:
