Geez..we play the Saints..have about two weeks to stew over it and suddenly everybody is writing "y'all"?

Yea funny thing about that. We use "y'all" kinda like people up north use "you guys" . We will say "y'all"even when we are talking to only one person.
Y'all will say "you guys" even when you are talking to a group of women.
Oh and by the way, "all y'all " is plural for "y'all".

And you "guys's" is plural for you "guys". Never understood that one.

Y'all are crazy.

I used to live in Texas for awhile. Y'all is a GREAT word. Why American English does not use a word other than "you" for the second-person plural is beyond me, so as with jazz, Creole food, barbecue, and pro wrestling, the South has engineered another great little invention.
