B/c it is non-stop tiresome, repetitive, and allows no view but the negative view to be considered legitimate, yet the factual basis for the viewpoint is absent cogent or demonstrable basis for it's legitimacy except dislike, ageism, or a stilted self created impression that everything the FO is doing is or has been wrong, the schemes are out of date, or made to fail by HC interference. It is an attempted creation of a group think mentality. Additionally b/c the negative view offers no actual solution or proposed solution, amongst other reasons.
Thus the constant drumbeat of negativity offers little solution and lots of blame focused wrongly on Pete, or John, or Wilson or whomever. Truly it is a form of a H8R thought which isn't the genuine viewpoint of more than one or other of the members here.
I doubt That Pete is actually out of touch with present NFL trends or doesn't have a pretty good idea who the better college players are in the draft, or that he interferes with Waldron or mandates it's my way or the highway. Is he loyal to a fault?Perhaps, but that isn't always a bad thing.
In fact reality is he's a great coach who has had a bad season who has tried at time to hit home runs, albeit at times unsuccessfully, and who like another coaches makes mistakes but in time corrects them.
Do I think the team needs to make some changes? For sure, but I agree with Sutz.
Semper Fi!!!
