Of course there’s loads of things we both want to see them do better. Frankly I thought the O wasn’t that special and the team made far too many mistakes with the ball. Someday perhaps they may just be able to run the ball somewhat effectively.

Still with just the D showing up the team convincingly kicked the bejebbers out of the Vikings.

Once again 26-0!!!

To each his own.
The Vikings were hell-bent on copycatting the Rams and getting a bunch of picks, the Seahawks dialed up a shut-out, and Darnold processed and LEARNED not to get rattled= GOOD WIN.
They were hell-bent but Darnold refused to oblige them with any picks.

But the Hawks wanted gifts themselves so they went out and took them (4 times) from mr. Brosmer. :devilish:

I don't.

I don't care if the opposing NFL team had a High-School QB.

It's extremely difficult to shut-out an NFL team these days.

Whenever that happens, it's *NOT* a "worst" dominating win.

That's just loser talk by the OP, man.
Didn’t say I agreed with it. I just said I understood it.

I'm finally sold on Kubiak, after today, myself.

They only team in that stadium that could beat the Seahawks today was the Seahawks. Dumb it down. Win the game.

Side note: analytics have gone too far. O'Connell going for it on fourth when they could have tied the game with a UDFA rookie QB in his first start . . . I was dumbfounded by how stupid that was. AND, he doesn't run it, he calls a damned playaction pass! Wow.

He's so overrated. O'Connell I mean.

Have to give Brian Flores credit. Their defense executed their plan as well as they could have hoped. They lived in our backfield, had four sacks, forced two fumbles, pressured Sam Darnold relentlessly, and completely took away our best offensive weapon in JSN.

We still won by 26 points.

A great sign for a team is when they win while being forced to play "left handed", meaning that we win in an unorthodox way. Darnold kept his wits about him, kept cool, and didn't force the ball.

My only complaint was the poor clock management at the end of the first half. Didn't take the time out after we stopped them on third down, wasted almost a full minute before getting the ball back, and went into halftime with two time outs in our pocket. Better time management could have gotten us a touchdown rather than a field goal.

On to Atlanta.

That Minnesota defense is no joke. They make a lot of good offenses look pedestrian. We dominated and proved we can win without JSN. Nice to see
This^^

Number 7 against the pass, we really rely on the pass.. as much as we run the ball our offense is really about play action pass. Plus that pass rush was really good from Minnesota. I thought we got the best of Harrison Bryant today eventually. I’m not giving Tippy Darnold a pass but k9 didn’t exactly look for work in pass protection against those blitzes. He’s gotta hang back more so he can see where it’s coming from

Better clock management and we possibly beat LA a few weeks ago. It HAS TO BE addressed.

Minnesota has a good defense, and one of the best defensive coordinators in the game. This is especially so considering their offense has done their defense no favors at all this year. They're near the bottom in many offensive categories.

They were going to pressure Darnold and not let JSN and our big-chunk-yardage passing game have its way. We adjusted to it, our D shut them down, and we won 26-0.

It's a good thing.

Disagree whole heartedly.

Wins like this show grit, and shows this team is capable of winning in multiple fashion. Shootouts or slobber knockers, they find a way.

I get it defensive games aren't as fun to watch, but a win is a win. And in this league, every win matters.
