Not to mention the Hawks are about to start the easier half of their schedule.

As inconsistent as this team is I wouldn't say any part of the schedule
is easy or easier. I imagine the other teams are looking at us like, keep
the defense on the field and wear them down and we get get points. Blitz
the offense and make it difficult for them and make them go 3 and out
as often as possible.

The teams we play from here on out have a higher winning % than the ones we've played so far. We'll be up against 6 top 10 defenses.

Yeah, you read that right, SIX Top 10 defenses in the next 9 games.

That's NOT the easy part of our schedule. It looked like it was preseason. That changed.

First of all I said heading into the easier half of their schedule, that doesn't include Detroit. Additionally, according to ESPN stats we only face 3 teams currently in the top 10 in terms of total team defense from here on out. The Lions, Bears and Niners. Detroit (#2 in total team D) has only faced one team in the last 3 weeks according to the stats because they had a bye two weeks ago and they don't play again until tonight so their numbers are skewed. Again Detroit would count as the first half of the Hawks schedule. The last half of the schedule also includes 2 teams in the bottom 10 in team D (Jets & Bills). So actually in the first half (according to current stats) the Hawks will have faced 3 top 10 (Boys, Lions, Niners) and 1 bottom 10 (Pats) teams in total D. Then the Hawks will face 2 top 10 (Bears, Niners) and 2 bottom 10 teams in the second half. So what I said was correct.

Let's face it....we're going to have play "above grade" in order to win in Detroit.

No doubt.

I disagree it is easy, it is an any given Sunday game where anything can happen, unless Seahawks consistently win road games, I don't think anything is an easy schedule. We haven't won one divisional game, so the pressure is going to be high to win them at Clink and sometimes in pressure, teams fall apart, just one way to have realistic expectations.

Detroit has some serious issues in their secondary and they have now lost Nate Burleson for the season, who was their go to guy when Johnson was too busy scraping defenders off his back to catch a ball. There are some holes there that can be exploited much like the Bears just did.

Hold on, I didn't say easy I said easier, as in less hard. It's a difference of degrees to be sure and nothing is a gimme but it bodes well for the Hawks.
