What’s with this new “putting a sword in a sheath and locking it” move I’ve seen the past few games. Bro gets torched on a cross route and a few plays later celebrates when balls are thrown poorly, acting like you’ve done something great. Enough with the shenanigans, get out there and play some ball.

I used to be 50/50 on Woolen but with all the hate lately I've become a fan. He's a way above average cover guy especially when you consider the pass rush is usually pretty mediocre. Guy gets to much hate for dumb reasons.

Woolen isn't the only player to do that crap, and it's one of the things about today's athletes that I have never gotten used to. That kind of behavior defines the gap between generations. I see players celebrating an incompletion when they're behind by 3 TD's with 5 minutes left in the game.

He has delusions of adequacy.

Cost us the Vikings game.

The hate has nothing to do with coverage breakdowns from no pressure. It's 100% to do with boneheaded mistakes that are self inflicted and looking like he gives up in the middle of plays. Right now he's the DK route runner of the defense

There have been times where even his teammates have had to get on him for his loafing, and although he's improved over last season, he can be a sloppy tackler and at one point last year was benched for it.

I thought that was a ‘locking in a seatbelt‘ motion?

it seems every game i watch includes at least one cover defender doing this "lock down" gesture which often just looks pathetic as either a) the incompletion is due to a bad throw, b) the incompletion is due to a drop or c) their team may well be getting their asses handed to them at the end of the game. As per another poster above, it might be a generational thing, I just think they look ridiculous doing it.

One thing I really did like about the Bill Belicheck Patriots was that it seemed like they were the team that did this the least. Act like catching a ball or defending a pass is your job. If you make some crazy freak play, or make a play to ice the game, then fine.

Something changed since his rookie year...what is it? He was so good as a rookie. QBs avoided his side of the field by midseason. Now, they target him on 3rd and long. I can't say what the change is but I'm guessing it's Riq, not environment. After all the hype around #2 DROY...he changed his name. Maybe he just got too big for his britches and stopped "competing". Sure it could be that WRs have tape on him. Maybe the difference in D scheme... But it seems more like it's Riq than what's going on around him. If it's him, it's also fixable...if he's willing. MMac would probably be a better judge than us, on the outside. If so, we'll have a pretty good idea about him this off season....

The players are millionaire children, spoiled rotten brats who respect violence or the threat of it. If you observe, you can see childish behavior that was never corrected. If DK had a Father figure in the home, his Mama ruled the roost. So many black children have no father in the home, or father figure number 1 2 or 3. Think of Sherm or Beast mode, their only role model worshipped them.

Our pass pressure rate is 7th in the league. How is that mediocre?

It's the pot calling the kettle black to nag on fans for calling Woolen mediocre then making the same mistake and calling our pass rush mediocre.

Both are above average at what they do.

JFC… maybe your father figure should’ve corrected your behavior…or maybe he taught you to post this kind of drivel.
