Ok. We just signed Jobe for $8 million APY. McDuffie is getting over $30 million.
Woolen has not signed. How much would you be willing to pay him to come back? Would take him back at a reasonable salary, say 10-12 million APY? Would you not sign him no matter what?
Personally, anything under 12 million APY 3 years with 20 million or less guaranteed and I say get it done right now. Also, no guarantees beyond year two for me.

Yep, if they wanted him back they would have signed him just like the other guys they kept. Pretty telling no other team has signed him either. CB is a need on so many teams NFL is thirsty for good corners.

If they would have signed Bryant, then let him walk. However can you guarantee that a rookie at pick 32 so going to be better than Woolen? No. At some point you have to stop the bleeding of free agents leaving.

But for the record, I was not thrilled with his play this year.

However if he got his head on straight, he could be a decent back up

He knows the system. I suspect he is holding out for big money. If no one wants to pay him that well, then why not bring him back? I don’t see him as being unsalvageable.

I think he has an overinflated expectation regarding his value or he wants big money from a contenders

I think his boneheaded unsportsmanlike penalty in the NFCCG may be affecting his offers.
So why would the Seahawks want HIM back then?

That could've cost us the friggin' SuperBowl.

I'd rather not have him have another boneheaded moment that ends up actually costing us next season.

Let him be someone else's problem.

Woolen is definitely one of those "wait and see" types of decisions. If someone is dumb enough to offer him a $20M/year contract, then let him walk. Make him come back to us on his knees begging. Otherwise, don't let the door hit ya where the Good Lord split ya.

Three taunting calls in one season is a bit much - there were only 26 in the entire NFL. I don't care how pleasant their personalities are - I can't stand the taunting, excessive celebration and Metcalf-like unsportsmanlike penalties.

There is always a team willing to overpay for talent, expecting a miracle behavior change;i.e-Dallas Cowboys repeatedly. Seahawks...not so much.

Texas dude. Still hasn’t hit the mature mark yet.

That said, there was a decent stretch where he was a stud this year. I don’t expect him back, but I sure would like to see him return and keep developing under Mike.

If he dumps his Riq and returns to the Tariq we drafted…10M/yr is a steal
