James is not an exception. James has 8000 more rushing yards, 2000 more receiving yards, and only 21 fewer TDs than Alexander.
Alexander is attempting to get in on a 5-year career and that is very hard to do. Terell Davis got in with a 4-year career, however, he checked every box. 2000 yard rushing yard season, super bowl MVP, league MVP, Pro Bowl, All-Pro.
