Update here:

@JasonLaCanfora: Always the chance Seattle could deal Winfield first - WSH and MIN had legit interest this offseason - but can be difficult this time of year

I told BFS that this guy wouldn't even make our squad when we signed him.

Too old. Just doesn't fit our mantra.

I was thinking a few weeks back that he may not make it because they hardly put him on the field.

Like many, after seeing what we've seen in training camp and the preseason I'm not at all surprised. That being said, my Walter Thurmond knee is starting to twitch. Perhaps the coaching staff should look in to seeing whether or not it's against the league rules for Thurmond to play in bubble wrap.

For sure the health of III is a significant concern, but also consider that Maxwell really stepped up this offseason, and Lane is more than solid depth. I think the coaches really like Shead as well and might stash him on the backed of the roster.

Not surprising. Looking at the money he turned down with the Vikings, I wondered if he would end up regretting not taking their offer. Frazier wanted him back. Doubt there is a trade out there for him.

Let this be my first "I told ya so" on Seahawks.net.

Actually, I thought Winfield would make the roster and Seattle would inevitably trade Winfield to a corner depleted team, making room for a player to come off IR in week six.

Seattle will attach itself to 8-12 core players and pay them. The rest will price themselves out of a job. Some of those cuts will be very good players that will start elsewhere.

We have to accept that.

The Colts parted ways with Peyton Manning to get younger. There are no sacred players anymore.

Kind of glad he isn't making it. He gave up wayyyyyy too many catches last year and now hes even older, and hes a midget. I wasnt too excited about him
