Seahawks make the Super Bowl before Denver does.

The thought of a shot at Russ in the Super Bowl does sound appealing

While I don't have any need to say f*** Wilson, I selected the third option because I never pass up an opportunity to say f*** horse face.

I think Wilson is going to do extremely well in Denver.

-> They have a young defense that finished top 5 in both yards and points.

-> A better O-Line that is returning 4 of 5 starters. They could easily choose to bring back their RT to make it 5 of 5.

-> They have 3 talented young WRs. And a stud rookie RB going into year 2.

-> Wilson has done a lot more with a lot less in previous seasons.

-> Wilson isn't really changing offenses, he's going from the Shanny/McVay scheme to the -> Shanny/McVay scheme. QB's in that scheme usually pop in year 2. Next year is year 2 for Wilson.

-> This is the most complete team he has played on since 2015.

-> The Broncos still have 3 picks in the top 100, just as many as the Seahawks. They still have 9 picks in this draft.

-> The Broncos still have $30M in cap space.

-> Wilson has something to prove, QBs when they get traded usually tick up from their previous season.

-> NFC West was extremely familiar with Seattle's offense and their tendencies. Making for some tough sledding. New offensive HC and new QB, is going to give the Donks a slight advantage in the early going as teams adjust to what they're doing.

-> AFC west is being overrated by QB star power. Oakland is kind of like the Seahawks, but carried by Carr. KC has an amazing O-Line and Mahomes. Their defense isn't that good, and their weapons fall off a cliff after Tyreke Hill. Kelsey has slowed down a ton and lost a step. KC would finish 3rd in the NFC West behind the Rams & SF. The LA Chargers are for real, but I thought they under-performed last year. Could become a pattern for them.

Contrary to what some might believe, the Donks didn't mortgage the future. They built a team through the draft that is ready to win now, they just needed a QB. Well they got that QB, and still have a ton of picks and cap space to continue to build their team. I will be surprised if they are not in the AFCCG this year, and in the mix every season for the foreseeable future to win the Superbowl.

It will be interesting as hell to see how this plays out, though. In contrast to whatever the hell Pete is doing.

Russell will be an upgrade at QB for them. If they can put another top-5 defense out there and have a running game that gets opponents out of cover-2, sure, why not 12-5 instead of 8-9? They were 8-9 partly because... Drew Lock. Teddy Bridgewater.

Denver becomes a playoff team. But, whenever Russell's passing has to carry them, without a solid run game, it's 50-50 depending on the opponent. Russell is an excellent game manager, avoids turnovers, and generally gives his team a chance. It worked out for the Hawks in 2013 and 2014, well, almost in 2014.

If Denver did their due diligence, they understand both Russell's QB superpowers, and his weaknesses, and have a plan to maximize his superpowers while keeping him away from his QB Kryptonite situations.

Really, it all hinges on Denver having a smash-mouth running game like the Hawks did in 2013-2014 to take the pressure off Russell.

But Wilson wants to be on a passing offense. They try to be run first i doubt he'd be happy.

Russ not the houdini he once was getting out of trouble and running or throwing deep. He thrives when plays are broken. Unfortunately for him, extending plays are getting much more difficult. Denver will be one and done in the playoffs.

Have you seen the moves the Chargers are making? Denver will finish 3rd in that division.

Now Day leaves the Rams for the Chargers. Wish we could have signed him and JC Jackson here in Seattle. But wearing the rams and making their D better for when they pummel the donkeys, is a good constellation prize I guess.

Oh crap, they got Khalil Mack too, I forgot. Day, Bosa, Mack, and Jackson. Looks like Chargers are trying to create Rams style of defense. Rams got, Donald, Von Miller(a FA who might resign with Rams), Leonard Floyd, and Ramsey.
