From what I'm reading, here are the top OL FA and their market value according to spotrac.com. I didn't bother with anyone 30+ or the "business decision" guy in Cleveland.

I didn't really like any of the LG (which I think is our greatest need), so I looked at iffy LT that could kick inside and be great LG. So...maybe Bredesen because he's cheap with starting xp? Maybe Dan Moore pushed inside?

Centers Drew Dalman or Josh Myers look to be much more affordable, though I would expect their final price tag to get pushed up because there's not a lot of options.

FYI: they say Earnest Jones market is $13M. I find that a bargain, er, FAIR VALUE! (if Earnest is reading this...)

UFA KC Trey Smith RG $19.7M
UFA IND Will Fries RG $14.1M
UFA PHI Mekhi Becton RG $10.2M
UFA CHI Tevin Jenkins LG $10.3M
UFA PIT James Daniels RG $7.8M
UFA TB Ben Bredesen LG $1.1M
UFA BAL Patrick Mekari LG $10.3M
UFA SF Aaron Banks LG $9.7M

UFA LAR Alaric Jackson LT $16.0M
UFA MIN Cam Robinson LT $14.0M
UFA PIT Dan Moore LT $12.6M

UFA ATL Drew Dalman C $6.8M
UFA GB Josh Myers C $7.7M

Bonus:
UFA SEA Earnest Jones ILB $13.0M

I don’t have a problem with players over 30 not all the free agents you sign will stick around for 5-10 years. Get a seasoned vet or 2 to plug a hole and help develop draft picks hopefully the draft pick would be ready within 2-3 years.

Keep the depth going along both OL and DL

Spotrac lost a lot of credibility when they projected Justin Fields at $42M per season last year. Alaric Jackson will be $19M+ per season and I won't be shocked if he gets close to franchise tag money.

Don't fall in love with Ernest Jones. He's a mercenary. Be prepared to receive a nice compensatory pick in 2026.

I think Dalman's value is higher than that.

Yeah, people who think Jones is taking a reasonable contract to stay in Seattle haven't been paying attention. He's looking to get PAID. Suggesting he's going to sign for less than Patrick Queen did is laughable.

I'm willing to do that.

It's when it starts to get into Tremaine Edmunds territory that I'll start raising eyebrows.

This is why we have to make the tough cuts.

Im not suggesting he'll sign for Queen money (he got 3/41), just that I think it's crazy to think he'd sign for less than that. I think he's going to ask for 18-20m, and be inside the top 3-5 for his position.

I'd love to see them sign Teven Jenkins and James Daniels. I get the upgrade at center talk though. I figure with a couple upgrades at both guard positions, Olu can be average to above average. And I would like to see some more of Sundell. He looked promising in a small sample.

Jenkins and Daniels are both very good players that come with a discount because neither has been able to stay on the field recently so we'd get 2 for the price of 1 kinda deal with some risks of course. Then we would have Bradford, Laumea and Haynes in reserves. We could go into the draft feeling pretty good without pressure to find a day 1 starter.

Daniels and Jenkins are both Poles cast-offs, so now he’s looking for two guards in FA and the draft. LOL. I think Bears and Seahawks will be competing for OL.

After watching the John Schnieder interview with 710 I have lost a lot of confidence in JS to make decisions on improving the O line. He was asked directly about the O line and if his philosophy has changed after watching the Superbowl the answer was a very quick and direct “no”. He feels we have the players that we need that the coaches just need to develop them. After that I would be surprised if they sign any decent free agents and/ or draft one before the 3rd rd.

Sounds like the same old John Schnieder
