Just went through the playoff machine and if we win next week and the Falcons lose, it's entirely possible we play the Rams in the wildcard game. If this is the case then maybe the beatdown we took against them gives the motivation needed to, dare I say, get us a win? Then onto the Iggles with a backup QB.

Hey you never know.

Potential revenge against the Rams in Los Angeles & then they would get a Nick Foles-led Eagles team? Yes, please.

Go Panthers.

When the Seahawks lost at home the week before last night's game, that was the first thought for me of what I want to happen. If they win this week and Arizona loses I want them to play the Rams in the first round to either show that they aren't who they were in the loss and prove they belong despite their deficiencies or be promptly bounced from the playoffs if they still have no answers.

I also think that Carson can come back within the next two weeks too. If I am right on that it would be nice if they could have him for a potential matchup with the Rams. It would be even better if he was cleared to play this week and got a handful of snaps to get his feet wet.

It was also encouraging to me that Rawls got more snaps and on a few plays showed some real pop. It would be nice to have a 1-2 combination because while Davis has been good, it would be nice to have two different style runners to possibly have some success with.

Realistically I know that Wilson will be most of our running game and they will have to get the ball out fast with a lot of fast passes if we do get in and get the Rams.

If Seattle gets into the playoff, I don't care if we meet the Rams or anybody else because in order to get to the SB, you have to beat everybody along the way. Like Ric Flair said, to be the best, you have to beat the best, and imo, the Rams is one of the best teams in the NFC. They could go far in the playoffs. Jared Geoff looked like a scrub last year and was destined to be a flop, and all of a sudden, he looks like Joe Montana or something under the new head coach.

I cold see Geoff had potential even last year. He has a good arm the Rams are a dangerous team.

I don’t think the Seahawks could be more fired up if they face the Rams in the WC round.

Please, please just let us get in.

Just gonna focus on next Sunday. I'll start doing mental gymnastics when we get to the playoffs.

I think the Rams are the most underrated team in the playoffs.

I expect them to make the SB as long as their QB protects the ball and avoids dumb mistakes.

I’d love a chance at them again though. I wouldn’t expect to win, but with our “been there before” and familiarity within the conference, I’ll spin the any given Sunday wheel.

The team would be so fired up. Would be sweet to play them again.

I suppose it depends on which Rams team shows up.

Maybe we get the Rams that were shut out for 3 quarters and their QB threw for exactly 0 TDs and 2 interceptions. Hope the Seahawks get in and we face that juggernaut :stirthepot:

I totally get what you’re saying and I hope the same. I just think it’s more likely that the Rams of December 17 show up as opposed to the Rams of October 8th. I think the Rams today have really bought in to Coach McVay’s philosophy and they believe in themselves which makes all the diffenrence. That being said, the playoffs are different animal, and I would love to get in and have another shot!

It's not like the those Rams aren't a thing anymore.

They just struggled against a Titans team that is on the verge of a big collapse and missing the postseason, and they got dominated by Minnesota.

More important is which RW shows up.

LOL maybe it won't be the massacre like it was a couple weeks ago but surely the Hawks would lose by 20. You get revenge when you lose to a team by 3 no by 40 lol.

LOL indeed. Didn't the Rams lose to the Eagles?
LOL.

Here's the thing. They are 1-1 vs the Seahawks my Rams fan friend. Let's hope there's a rubber match.

Anyone who’s followed football over the years knows that blowouts are embarrassing but....you learn a lot more from a blowout than a close game. Close games hurt, because you may not change too much up. It’s why the Steelers struggle with the Patriots. The Patriots never blow them out, but always owns them. The Steelers are always stuck keeping the things that worked against the Pats while trying to figure out which part of the game plan to tweak

We gave the Rams a LOT of short fields. The entire first half they were starting on like our 40. Made it really easy for them. The early turnover also didn’t help. That is one game I would have been happy with the offense doing little in the first half so long as the defense kept it close. Then hopefully pull it out in the end. We needed to stop the bleeding and be conservative
