We don't run much, and we weren't successful when we did. Can anyone help with coming up with an analysis on why we haven't been good at running?
Why our running game sucked?

I don't look at film or study the all-22, but from what I've seen, I think that we don't employ run concepts that work with the talent that we have.
It's hard to see exactly what Grubb is trying to do, but most of the run plays appear to be power runs or inside zone runs. Neither of those work given the players we have on the O-line.
I'd like to see some outside zone concepts being used where we can stretch the defense horizontally since we have an elusive back in Walker who would be good in those types of plays. I also see him succeeding in counter plays, which we have used, but should use more frequently.

Play Calling AND the players getting pushed around. Esp. in short yardage.
