First off, we held the Panthers to just six points. They barely made it to our side of the 50 yard line. We need all this without our top 2 pass rushers, our best interior pass rusher, and a probowl corner. Maybe we didnt generate as much pass rush as we'd like but our team bared down in 3rd down consistently and created turnovers when needed.

2nd, I love this coaching staff. We are so good at making improvements as the year goes on as showed in last year when we went on our great run. I expect the same this year and I believe it will show as early as next game.

3rd, we won on the road, at 1 oclock. We all know how hard it is for this team year after year to do so. I like how PC made practices early this offseason to get the team prepared as much as he could for all the 1PM starts we will see this year

4th, next week we will get alot of guys back. Avril and Browner almost made the playing field today. I'm glad that the gamble paid off, and they were able to get extra rest for next week. I also believe Clemons will be playing next week too.

5th, the 12th man. I know we saw the 49ers put up some points on offense today against the packers, but they also let up 28 themselves. They look good but I'm not afraid of them when they come into our house. You guys are going to be so loud next week they won't know what hit them.

I know we got off to a slow start but the panthers also had a top 10 defense last year and they added some improvements. today was nothing more then a defensive battle and thats going to happen from time to time. As much as we all love to see offense...a win is a win is a win and we won. Hold your heads up high, b/c next week we are coming home baby!!!

And we only gave up 12 points to the same QB with more weapons last year.

It's pretty common knowledge that the 49ers have a much easier schedule than Seattle this year. One great thing about today is that getting a 10:00 AM win on the East Coast begins to chip away at that scheduling advantage.

The ninnies averaged 13 points against Seattle last year (scored 13 points both games). And the touchdown here was against our 2's and 3's in garbage time! One big problem the ninnies had even today was procedure, false starts, and delay of games or almost delay of games where you have to burn timeouts. Expect more of that next week.

Ya they used 2 of their Timeouts with like 10 minutes to go in the second quarter....seems to happen alot that they burn timeouts
