I don't know but I'm sure the NFL is so upset that the Seahawks won and the Niners weren't the division champs instead. No doubt whatsoever in my mind that the league had the Seahawks penciled in for next Sunday at 10 a.m. Pacific time at Green Bay.

I suppose the very earliest we would know is after the Dal/Phi game tonight. I am also eagerly awaiting this information, because I might need to request work off.

If I remember correctly top seeded teams play on Saturday.

Atlanta was #1 last year and we were there on Sunday morning. I don't think there's an exact seeding formula for who gets scheduled on what weeks. That said, I'm all for an extra day in between the divisional round and the NFC title game.

Watch the NFL makes all of our playoff games at 10am even if they play 2 in Seattle. I can see it now, "do to oncoming snowstorm the Super Bowl has been moved to 1pm est"

My guess is that we'll get the late Saturday start. I think they like having a west coast city in that slot. Besides, it works best for me as I have to work Saturday.

Folks, it's all about how they think they'll get the best TV ratings meaning Cincy will get the 1:30 PM Saturday game (the least watched of the 4) week after next if they win next week. They've had that game 2 years in a row. After that it'll mean we get the 5 PM game Sat. or the 1:30 PM game Sunday cuz we won't get a 10:00 AM game at home. Root for Cincy next week.

It won't matter what Cincy does, the times for each home team in the 2nd round are always decided after week 17 is done. We'll find out soon.

I didn't know that. Guessing we'll get stuck with 1:30 PM Saturday.

Early Saturday would be a great timeslot...provided that we win. Allows us to just kick back and watch the other playoff games without a care in the world.

Apparently the playoff schedule is being released at halftime of the SNF game. Hopefully that includes our specific divisional game.

"We" can, meaning the fans. The players will be watching film. ;)

I'm onboard with this. Plus it provides an extra day before the NFCCG... provided we win. And one day less of rest/preparation for whoever is traveling to the CLINK.
