No disrespect to wags, but **** NO. This is stupid. Let go of the past … Al Bundy.
There is very little of hanging on to the past, just based on his pass-rushing numbers alone (not just counting sacks but pressures) he’s been one of the best at his position the last 4 years, and arguably elite the last 2. Don’t even want him as a starter but its nice to know he can do it, and do it reasonably well, and he probably could fill in any LBer role from SLB, MLB, and WLB if needed although you’d like to keep him out coverage as much as possible and let him be more of a downhill destroyer. And at 245, he has a little more weight to throw around to blow up short-yardage/goal to go rushing situations than these guys that are 229-236.

Verse is completely off the table except for an extreme draft capital overpay. He's reportedly the player the Browns demanded to make the deal happen. The Rams wanted to keep Verse and give up more picks.

I don't belive he's on the market unless the Browns are just pick snatching for the 2027' draft... 🤔
Browns were holding out the Garrett deal and basically said we want Verse as part of the deal or it's no deal. So unless a massive overpay I doubt they will even entertain trading him.

I read the Eagles wanted Garrett, but the browns wanted Carter plus draft picks. It's would not surprise me if John called about Garrett, but the Browns probably wanted a player like Murphy, or Spoon to be in the deal..

The Browns turning around and trading Verse to Seattle is absolute theater for the NFL.

Seattle would give up alot though and we actually don’t need to do so.

As long as we have a rotation that includes Seahawks Legend, Byron Murphy, Seattle will wreck offensive lines.

Just ask Sean McVay how good Byron Murphy is.
It would be so amazing to get Verse after getting EJ!!! Haha
