What kind of salary does J.S make?

Schneider is on the higher end of GM salaries. Pretty sure it's in the multi-million dollar value.

I think NFL GM's are overrecruited, overvalued and overpaid. lol
John is one of the top paid GM's at this time. I'm glad we have him, for the time being.

It's actually interesting to think about their pay compared to a player. Even though their career is longer and has much less risk associated. One could argue that a "good" GM may indeed spend more hours to their craft than a player. Yes a player watches film, works out, eats and sleeps football during the season and a good chunk of of the off-season. The GM however...if doing the job right, would have no off-season or vacation whatsoever. They may be strategizing, analyzing, etc. 12-16 hours a day, 365 days a year. Their actual contribution to the overall teams success/failure could also be deemed way more impactful than a single player.

Unless the GM time manage at advanced level, like having two Schneiders sharing an office.

More than he's worth. By far. But I'd can him in the first minute if I was in charge.

He's the last of the "get this idiot off my team" list now that Geno is gone. Every other player and coach right now are on my "give them a chance" list.

I wonder if he got a big pay bump after Pete left. The new title should constitute that. And yeah, I don’t know how to look it up besides the Google.

That seems reasonable given his tenure, record of success, and the fact that few people have as much cachet around the league. 14 kickers have a higher apy.

Who would you replace him with?

Personally I feel like he’s done a good job, but I don’t know enough to truly put my heels in the ground and make an argument.

You sound like you have a ton of knowledge about the topic/ position.

Jayhawk must be referring to the horrible under 500 record JS has accrued under his watch here.......

Winning in the NFL is easy.... right? ;)
