For the record, Charlie was out of the Hawks plans regardless of them drafting Wilson.

And if we hadn't, Flynn would have been our QB... and who knows how the season would have ended.

Totally up for speculation.

Truth is... he now have our franchise QB... and he's only 24 y/o.

Time to focus on other positions that need to be upgraded.

I think our team would be pretty good even with Matt Flynn, but not the team that we have with DangeRuss. Wilson brings leadership and confidence to the team that only a handful of QB's in this league can match, and with Flynn I suspect that we would have ended up around 8-8 or 9-7 and out of the playoffs.

Oh god.. I like Matt Flynn. He's a solid QB but he doesn't have the arm strength that Russell Wilson has. The velocity Russ can put on the ball is ridiculous.

Pretty Sure if Flynn would have been in he would of ended up being on IR. Look how often Russell bailed out the O-line by being able to run. Flynn doesn't have near the pocket presence Russell does and isn't as fast.
