I noticed the biggest dude on the offensive line, whose size and hairstyle makes him the easiest to spot, sucks.

I wonder if Carpenter was slimmer with a shaved head we'd hear whining about him? I wonder if his "injury-prone" label will be proven slightly a reach, as the same label was found to be for Okung and Baldwin (remember the Baldwin's frame means he'll forever be injury prone nonsense...just LAST YEAR!?).

I noticed his ability to knife through the DL and LBs without being touched on the first scoring drive.11;50 in the second qtr.Plays like that drive me nuts.I hope he does overcome all the injuries to be a force, we need him too.Yesterday he wasnt the physical player the fans or team wanted when he was drafted. Its ok to disagree.

Carp had a rough game, but most of the oline did. Big testament to how good the Carolina D line has become. I made mention of their great pass rush in another thread earlier in the week, but blown away at Star's impact on the interior pass rush. Carp's agility is killing him at the moment, as well as anticipation.

Yeah, lest we forget, Star was projected as the #1 overall pick once upon a time.

This seems eerily familiar to last year. Everyone hymning and hawing about the offensive line, without considering "hey, the opposition may be good". It took a few weeks for some to reconcile the Cards front and scheme was damn good. The same will ring true for the Panthers.

I kind of think they're good...which means the Seahawks are too. Or, they suck and we should've won by 30?

PE makes a good point about how it just so happens to work that the guy who is easy to spot gets extra blame on a day when he wasn't the only o-lineman getting worked. Sorta the inverse of how John Lotulelei got a lot of extra credit and notice during the preseason. The hair does draw your eye.
