End of the Third Quarter - maybe telling him to keep running it?

I think he's telling Bevell not to "let up". Let this offense build some confidence.

I saw that when it happened. I think Pete said, 'we need more points on the board so .net doesn't go ballistic this week!"

Pete just re assuring Bevell that all he does is win 70% of the time, and he is the top O coordinator in the NFL and up for a raise.

GrapeHawk asked me to fill in for him. 8)

Pete: "I'm telling you, we're keeping our starters in for the rest of this game!"

I think you're probably very close to the truth with your assessment, as NEITHER of them were smiling, or coming across as happy-go-lucky.

I think Pete was pissed because the offense scored so many points in the 3rd quarter and caused the team to have a two score lead.

Pete looked pissed at Bevel the entire second half. This was just one of many little interactions Pete was having with Bevel. It came across as really odd to me because you rarely see Pete like this.

I think Pete was pissed because the Seahawks played with PA pass, Power running schemes, Roll-out and kept the defense honest. He knew that fans had been asking for this for weeks and they had now proven them right

Well, he was hugging Bevell after the final TD, but I agree this exchange did seem very unusual, and very uncharacteristic for Pete.

Who knows, maybe there's something brewing behind the scenes? Let's get TMZ on the case

It looks like common interaction on the sidelines to me.

Agreed.

FWIW, Pete Carroll praised Bevell quite a bit in his PC, as he should. He performed well last night.

Pete is probably telling Bevell, "The DL is a mash unit. Kill some more clock, willya."
