I do expect a win, though. Really, I'm more concerned about the Niners at home than the Panthers on the road.
LOLWUT?
Did you watch the game in December? 9ers have no shot at the CLink. No-one does.
I disagree. Another blowout with the Kraeper and his deer in the headlights look all night long! We'll see I guess.RolandDeschain":3ao4e7ye said:Kaepernick's not going to look like a scared puppy in Seattle all night this time, we're not blowing the 49ers out by 29 points again. I'll just be satisfied with a win.

If you've watched Carolina's defense their front four is loaded with big men who can get to the QB and defend the run. Kuechly is probably the best ILB in the game and Beason is very good as well. Carolina's front seven is up there with SF for the best in the league, IMO. Running the ball on that defense is going to be a pain, and since they are big and physical I would not expect them to wear down much by the 4th quarter.
I'm starting to feel more comfortable about getting a win there just because Newton has looked so terrible so far this year. But if we do win, don't expect a blowout. Expect something like 19-13.

The offensive gameplan looked a lot simpler and cleaner, so I expect the Panthers to be able to move the ball some. And I agree with the comments about the defense. Fortunately Ted Ginn is just as likely to fumble the ball as he is to take it back 100 yards.
Tough game, IMO, and I'm sticking by that. Still think we take the victory.
Fair enough. I just don't think it'll be tough at all. They could barely move the ball last night against a weakened Raven's D. Most of their scoring came from defensive and special teams plays. they're chumps, and the world will know that when the dust has settled on week one of the NFL season proper.
But that offense needs serious help. It really is too conservative and I think it's more the OC's fault then Cam's. And they still have no WR's beyond Steve Smith to speak of and that is even a bigger issue.DonnieDarko":wirqpdbu said:That Panthers defense looks amazing. You guys will be a tough test for them. I think Seahawks win by 10.

Steve Smith sucks now, KCFakegirl. He hasn't been good for a couple of years, and Sherman owns him now. The rest of their receivers are scrubs. Their O-line is so-so, and their running game should be easily handled by our front 7.
Panthers defense DOESN'T look amazing. They have decent DTs and one very good linebacker. That's it. everyone else is basically trash. I won't be upset if we only win by 3 points, but I expect to roll these clowns.
