Week 15 ESPN power rankings

Seattle still #1 even though Denver had a solid win. Seattle got 5 out of 6 first place votes! I'm glad that the so called "pundits" are not freaking out about this loss and have put it in proper perspective. We should do the same.

I don't think the Seahawks have ever been #1 in any ranking up until this year so yes, it is significant from that perspective and fun when we're on an amazing roll like this. The league has an east coast bias and it's nice when we finally get some due.

I like this particular week's ranking because of perception really. We lost, #2 won handedly and we're still #1. That says a lot about the perception of this team coming around and finally getting some national respect.

I'm happy for the guys, I think they deserve the recognition. It's the same thing as the Pro Bowl, it's largely a popularity contest but it means something to the players even though they won't be able to play in it this year.

The superbowl winner is going to come out of the NFC this year. Most likely us or the 49ers. I like the Saints defense but physical teams get the nod in my book come playoff time.

i used to like power rankings, but the older I get the more i realize how silly they are. Fun to look at another "experts" opinion perspective but really means nothing.

In line with the consistent whining, complaining and bitching about disrespect to Seattle and East-Coast bias, I demand an immediate investigation and to have whomever did not vote Seattle #1 be whipped in the town square, tarred & feathered and locked into stocks.

This HAS TO BE the first time in Seahawks history that they were #1 in any media rankings after losing a game. If you lose a game and everyone still thinks you are the very best, that's the truest definition of media respect.

I don't know about other people, but for me, the biggest reason I read power rankings is for the comments from the guys writing them. Virtually without fail, there's at least one really entertaining comment about one of the teams.

Elliot Harrison has us #1 as well which is surprising. Pete Prisco on CBS.com has us at #3 . Hes a douche though. A lot of media and Vegas expected a let down from us and to me it seems that the same"respect" is still after the NO game. Soooooooooooo F**k you 9ers. If you even play in the playoffs, cause were going, you might not. We are going to absolutely embarrass you if we play again. I've never seen so much crap talking after a game, that was close , unsure til the end, win for them. " still the big boys of the conference" and paraphrasing " teams still need to watch out for the 49ers in the playoffs". Again F u,,, you sh**t talking a holes.
