Just like you and I don't have a right to success. We fight and scrap for every shred of success that comes our way. And we'll get into the face of anyone who questions our drive. I imagine the Hawks players having the same attitude. Let's see any of you critics tell the starters that they suck.

I get it, you are frustrated with the lack of performance, but what matters? A win? Let's celebrate. This team finds a way to snatch victory where our guys found a way to snatch defeat for most of our franchise's history.

Yup, good post. Great teams learn how to win. No excuses for the terrible play though, and they need to get better.

Something to be said about winning ugly. we are facing adversity with the bookend OTs out. And does anybody really want to be peaking at week 8? Needs to be better, but 7-1 is the epitome of 1st World Problems.

Isn't that right, we have first world problems? We played a 3rd world team tonight, and still won. Imagine if there was no salary cap.

Football is 3 parts...offense, defense and special teams. 2/3 did their job tonight and got the W.

I with ya. I like it.

Yes, it's frustrating when we come into the season feeling like we've built one of the most complete rosters in league history. We've got a potential pro bowler at ever position. We want 4 score blowouts every game. Our backups are supposed to be better than half the league's starters. I know that's how I feel.

So yeah, it's frustrating when we struggle against a lesser opponent and a game comes down to the wire like this. But I think of the Giants game in 05 and last years game against the Pack; we won, despite all the bullshit, and in the end it didn't matter that it was ugly. All that matters is that we got the W. That's really all that counts.

So here's to hoping we can get some of our issues cleaned up going into the 2nd half of the season. I still expect a few blowouts. ;)

When you're used to losing and see something special and it doesn't materialize, yeah, you kind of lose your ish.
