Bozeman High defensive end Will Dissly has committed to joining the Boise State football team.
Dissly says he informed Boise State coach Chris Petersen of his decision on Sunday. He can sign his letter of intent on Feb. 6.
Dissly was the Class AA co-defensive MVP as a junior and senior. This year, he had 57 tackles, 12 tackles for a loss. 9.5 sacks, four pass breakups, two fumbles forced, two fumbles recovered and two touchdowns. He also played tight end where he caught 55 passes for 917 yards and 11 touchdowns as Bozeman went unbeaten in winning the Class AA state title.
Dissly tells the Idaho Press Tribune says he was assured during the recruiting process that Petersen wasn't leaving Boise State.
