The dirty secret they're not telling us - Macdonald likes his attitude so much that they're moving him to the defensive line as an experiment...

Man, if we draft Ratledge and Jared Wilson, and Haynes ever figures out how to pull his head out of his ass, we could have the makings of a decent o line!

The school means nothing. There's formulas to grade production if the player were to perform in a bigger conference like the SEC, Big 10, etc and Zabel graded extremely well in that regard. Does Mebane have an issue with Jeanty carving up Georgia Southern and Nevada? Khalil Mack wrecking teams in the MAC? Super Bowl winning QB Joe Flacco beating up on Monmouth?

It's all about projection. Take the base and build at the next level. If you've peaked at Bama, you're worthless in the NFL.

I agree, I was just poking fun at the former Pac-12. Small school makes Zabel riskier, but there's more than enough reason to believe he'll be able to elevate above it.

Yep. The league has several players from small schools. It's not where you played, it's how you play when you get to the NFL.
You either can play at this level, or you can't. WAY too much made out of where he played. Josh Allen played for Wyoming. He turned out ok.
