It's his contract year, I have seen so many average players ball out in their contract year.

The one area that the NFL is kind of a sucker in is "Contract year wonders". Walker is a great running back and he will tough out some pain this year.

Walker will muster up 1200 yards and lock himself into a smaller contract by some team

I agree. Can't beleive all this hate for K9, he has been pretty good, all things considered. But the team has had plenty of good RBs who have not lived up to high expectations over the past decade bc of an inadequate line, and poor coaching.
