Not yet, but more reps means he'll get there eventually.

He's a rookie.

Hmm.

What sample of play are you going off of to make this declaration?

Also, are players unchanging entities that don't develop over time?

Only 32 guys in the whole world get to be HC of an NFL team.

Very few have ever had the success that PC has experienced.

I can’t bash the guy, and certainly can’t do a better job than he has.
I know a certain poster who (thinks he) could.

If Pete was 1/2 as good as .net thinks he is, he'd run that in himself....

Dallas hits it up in there and might've only gained a yard. Still better than Walker bouncing it and losing 3.

Consistently Walker shows he doesn't have the size to be effective in those situations.

Seriously, show us the bounty of data you've got here

Carries inside the 5 yard line are a stat that's tracked closely due to fantasy implications, and Walker has had literally ONE this season prior to this game, and this is his rookie season.

Either the "consistently" is complete bullshit, or you're just making stuff up man

At 5’9” 211# he’s big enough. It’s his dancing style that’s the issue…boom or bust.

Earlier he bounced one that got stopped on a 2d and short. Next play he went vertical like should and it worked.

He's learning. :)

Ok fair enough.

Who would you replace Pete with if you could make the call?

Schneider's got substantially more mass than Carroll, and his center of gravity is low. I think Hurtt could knock some guys over too. Maybe Hurtt as a blocking fullback and Schneider as the halfback. Anyway, either one of those two would be a better choice than Carroll to run the ball in a short-yardage situation.
