Includes some pretty interesting takes on the NFCC game:

"We're like, 'Yeah, we're going to beat them again. We know what we learned from last time.' And then when we start having trouble -- early on, they throw a big play, everybody's kind of like, s----ing the bed. Like, 'Oh, what do we do now? This isn't going the way we thought this was going to go. They're not laying down."

Disdain for Seahawks

And THAT is the difference between the Hawks and the rest of the league. Our D doesnt quit. Stafford was lights out against us in a way i am sure MM and the guys didnt expect to happen. Yet, when it mattered, again and again, we flushed the bad plays and made the stop. The only guy that doesnt play that way is Woolen. He would be perfect for the Rams in that sense.

When it comes to who we hate more Rams / Niners, when it comes to players on the field only, it's Rams and it's not close imo. They seem to have a real collective arrogance about them, and from comments like Puka's still can't get over they lost to us this year. IMO it all stems from their HC

That's why I'm glad we got Macdonald. He coaches the players to go out into the field and earn their wins.

Success has gotten to the Rams' heads. There's that Bane quote "victory has defeated you" that comes to mind. Typical L.A attitude to just assume they could drift their way to the super bowl.

I read the whole article, and I'll say, the feeling's mutual. Nothing to like about them either.

That's a really odd admission to make.

"And when we started having trouble, we didn't know what to do, said Verse. "Like some of us on the defense, some, you know, I'm going to take full blame, too. Like, there were a couple of times I'm like, but they're running the other way. Like, I don't know what to do. I can't chase. Like I'm not that fast. I can't chase him on the backside. What do I do? So when we had some troubles, we just kind of like mentally shut down."
His coaches & teammates can't be happy with that.

I love these guys like Verse and Puka hating Seattle. Stafford has 1-2 more years, then they won’t have a qb and get their asses kicked every year. They all know the window is closed for them after 2026. Ours is still wide open.

And let's be real. They should have lost to Panthers or the Bears.

F the Rams. They are so butt hurt about losing 2 of 3 to us. I feel the same distain for Puke 🤮 that I did for Harbaugh in his Niners days. Yeah, they were able to move the ball on us this year. But I have no doubt the mad scientist MM will eventually figure their offense out too. Plus old man Stafford isn't getting any younger. I doubt he's able to replicate his MVP performance from this year. This was their best opportunity to get another one, and we snatched it away! Now let's go get another one next year, this time on THEIR home field! 😂

They definitely approach us differently than other teams. Another sign that they were not SB caliber if they can only get up for certain opponents in the playoffs. How on earth do you almost lose to the horrendous Panthers in the playoffs?!

The sense I get is that he wants them to be upset about it. Feels like he is calling out coaches AND players.

Good for him. Although I saw him get toasted a time or two in that game.

He said, “we thought it was gonna be a cake walk”

Hahaha that’s terrible thinking and coaching. Their arrogance shows through

I love this talk. Our players really hate the niners and Ernest Jones doesn't like the Rams.

Better to be hated than irrelevant.

I sort of get their arrogance, their offense was the only one to cook our defense (twice) along with the Bucs. They couldn't get it done on defence though.

It's like the NFC west is the Federal League and the Rams are the Syracuse Bulldogs with Verse as Screaming Buffalo, Puka Ogie Ogilthorpe and McVay is Tim 'Dr. Hook' McCracken.
We're the Charlestown Chiefs and they just can't beat us because we've got Reg, Ned, the Hanson brothers and a bus load of rabid fans that follow us everywhere.

We just had the better roster. Rams have a LOT of studs but their back seven was suspect. You bring two very good teams together and that'll be the difference.
