He just drafted a G, no reason to think he won't do it again. All about the trenches. Ask the Niners how the Hawks are playing in the trenches :)
My beef here is there are probably better players at this range than a G or C.

I’m still saying Amari Washington at 32 for the hawks. Ben Roberts in the 4th round.

Pity since so many feel Darnold is a hack we will be looking for QB in a bad year for QB's, would rather have an RG or C, even a few or couple LB would be a help. Gues we will just have to see which QB John likes. :)

It's early but I can't really see a LB or IOL being selected by the Seahawks in the first round. It's not about positional value. John will take a player he likes. He did it with Zabel last draft.

I just don't see a player worthy of being selected at those positions.

Right now, most likely the BPA would be either a CB or S.

No Amauri Washington at 32. He’s staying in school for 1 more year

I don’t know that I would call the draft weak. If you need a qb, yes. Maybe average at Tackle. I think there are some real studs at guard, and a couple really high end C.

But this class is super deep at WR, there are a couple generational LBs, if they declare. I think there are some stud safety’s, and DL. Maybe not the high end DE. Some really good RBs. Love looks like an absolute stud. TEs looking like a strong group in the top 3-5 guys.

The only real generational talent in the draft is Reese and Downs. The rest outside the Top 15 is super meh.

They also said that same thing last year. But I also see guys like McShay saying it’s the strongest WR draft in years.

No they very didn't. The consensus on last years draft was it was a strong draft especially on defense.

I fully trust John now that he has full control of the draft and the results have been much better than when he and Pete shared duties. If he sees a guard that he thinks is a massive different maker I would be all over it.

My prediction is a corner though. I think in that range they can get a difference maker at corner and not sure if we sign Woolen or not.

A great thing about having so much talent already is drafting bpa without any concern for need. I know they always say it, but that doesn't mean that's what they've actually done. When has JS been an open book concerning the draft?
With that being said, I would not be surprised if they take one of those top LB's. MM has had studs there in the past and as good as Jones is, I can still see MM wanting a young stud to replace Thomas and play next to Jones. Not to mention, the one thing you can predict about JS's draft picks is they are unpredictable.

Package the pick with something else for Maxx Crosby. The one thing our D is missing is an elite pass rusher. We'd be so effing deadly with one.

Daniel Jeremiah 2026 NFL mock draft 1.0: Raiders pick QB at No. 1; Jets among 4 teams to go WR

Pick 32 Seattle Seahawks

Brandon Cisse South Carolina · CB · Junior CB Cisse

Cisse will put on a show once we get to the testing portion of the offseason. He can fill a void if the Seahawks lose any of their soon-to-be free agents at cornerback (Coby Bryant, Riq Woolen, Josh Jobe).

That’s who I’m pulling for. Riq’s replacement

If ever there was a year to be short on draft picks this is it. As has been said though there are some good WRs and secondary players that could be available at 32. The pickings at other positions will not likely be available where we have a pick. That is why I have been touting a plan to trade our other picks for a proven good FA player.

All I want from the 2026 Draft is Iowa's Gennings Dunker as our next RG. Make it happen, John!
To be honest with you...chances are he isn't as good as Anthony Bradford. People keep acting like Bradford should be the pinata.

I don't think Mac, John, and the whole staff are going to view a rookie coming in to take Bradford's job. I don't see an interior linemen being taken at the end of the first round if they decide to keep it.
I just want him simply for the possibility of Darnold and Zabel growing mullets. 🙃

He's nice. I wouldn't be mind.

I would actually like for him to go earlier than #32 so other players get pushed down to us at #32.

"I gave only 13 first-round grades in the 2025 class, the lowest number I've ever awarded. But the 2026 class comes in below that right now."

And yet we pulled Grey Zabel and Nick Emmanwori...

I'm not worried. The biggest impact of this draft will be on who we decide to re-sign and who we let walk.

Also seeing draft people call this the best LB class in years. Not that we will be drafting anywhere near getting the top 3, but I don’t think this draft is as bad as people are trying to say.
I think the Seahawks will do well this year. There's some depth at some positions that'll play well with the draft position. There's a lot of cap to fill in the soft spots on the team.
