29. Seattle Seahawks – Emmanuel Pregnon, G, Oregon

Someone check on John Schneider if he uses consecutive first-round draft picks on offensive guards after taking Grey Zabel this year. Still, this is one of the few problem areas for Seattle's roster, and Pregnon's forcefulness would come in handy for an offense still hoping to establish some roots in the ground game.

I think next year will be open. Probably not losing a lot of talent and we have the cap space to fill holes before the draft. They always talk about doing it but this will truly be a BPA regardless of position upcoming draft.

Now, it is highly regarded as a very week draft at the top and throughout so I could see us trading out of this draft as much as possible for 2027

I don’t know that I would call the draft weak. If you need a qb, yes. Maybe average at Tackle. I think there are some real studs at guard, and a couple really high end C.

But this class is super deep at WR, there are a couple generational LBs, if they declare. I think there are some stud safety’s, and DL. Maybe not the high end DE. Some really good RBs. Love looks like an absolute stud. TEs looking like a strong group in the top 3-5 guys.

Every person who studies the draft for a living has said it’s the weakest draft in a very long time. Rob staton says there’s maybe 4 players with 1st round grades and only about 66 draft able players in total. He’s far from the only one saying that too.

They also said that same thing last year. But I also see guys like McShay saying it’s the strongest WR draft in years.

Sometimes when you don't have 5 guys that are anointed the leagues saviors the rest of the class are guys that will be dependable but may not highlight reel players. These kinds of drafts show who the Good GM's are versus guys that just think they know something.

Also seeing draft people call this the best LB class in years. Not that we will be drafting anywhere near getting the top 3, but I don’t think this draft is as bad as people are trying to say.

Rob is essentially saying it's a historically bad class. That by the time you get to the third round, you're dipping into UDFA quality. I.e., it's not a great year to have a ton of draft capital and think you're in position to remake your team. This talk will obviously ramp up in about a month or so, but here's more thoughts on that.

"I gave only 13 first-round grades in the 2025 class, the lowest number I've ever awarded. But the 2026 class comes in below that right now."

Guys like mcshay and Daniel Jeremiah are paid to hype up the draft though. Id takes more stock in what JS is doing giving up the 4th and 5th for Shaheed. I'm sure if he loved the draft he would have made it a 2027. I'm still convinced they take a swing at a big trade if we are now bang in our window and in win now mode. We don't have a ton of needs- elite pass rusher, wr, corner, guard.

I don't think our first pick is a guard. It's just not John's MO. I think they are status quo on the oline. John also likes 11 or 12 picks so this will be a trade down draft for the Hawks. Have to say I trust John after all this time.. but trading down does come with less talented players. Pregnon will likely go bottom of the first. But we won't pick till let's say 38. We heavily recruit from the Senior Bowl.

This year I like Noah Wittington RB. 4th rnd.

All I want from the 2026 Draft is Iowa's Gennings Dunker as our next RG. Make it happen, John!

The notion of drafting OL in the first round once again, or even the second round if the player is highly touted, is music to my ears. Glad the days of Cable, Bevell, and Schottenheimer are loooong gone.

I am sure the majority of teams will be thinking the same thing of trading down in a weak draft class especially when there are no blue chip players to trade up for

I would be happy to see them come away with a good WR at some point. Picking up a solid DT would be great as well.

You know its not good when the national media are trying to talk Ty Simpson into a first round QB. He sucks and wasn't any better than Milroe. Holds the ball too long, fumbles a lot.

To be honest with you...chances are he isn't as good as Anthony Bradford. People keep acting like Bradford should be the pinata.

I don't think Mac, John, and the whole staff are going to view a rookie coming in to take Bradford's job. I don't see an interior linemen being taken at the end of the first round if they decide to keep it.
