Just for fun, let’s post opinions about the upcoming season that you think could come true but based on the pulse of .net are simply outrageous or unlikely to happen. I’ll start.

Tre Flowers will emerge as the teams best CB and force a contract extension. If this happens, who becomes the defacto .net whipping boy. Gotta have someone, don’t we?!

Rashad Penny will start a minimum of 5 games. If he has even a modicum of success, I expect some .netters to have their heads implode.


Pete Carroll stays out of the way of the offense.

Eskridge has a few burner TD's and looks like Tyreek Hill but can't stay healthy ala Prosise.

Ryan Neal plays like a pro bowler and puts into question Diggs/Adams cap hits.

Tre Brown and Blessaun Austin look like starting CB's and start for us at 1/2 by mid-season. Flowers is cut at end of season.

Penny is used extensively at the start of the season and looks elite, gets traded by the deadline.

D Brown gets injured and Stone Forsythe comes in, with Russell running for his life the rest of the season. Russell's camp call for another trade or Pete's exit next offseason. Seahawks start 2-5 next season; Russell gets traded, and the rebuild begins.

Well the winning games without his defense bailing him out has already happened. But the getting mvp and sb appearance can happen we will see.

For me I would say the offense carries the team.but PC can't stand it so he reverts to PC ball and we start loosing and he quits.

I would say 1 and 3 are not only possible they are probable.

I'm going to predict that Collier and Flowers prove to be cornerstones of a top ten defense.

I don't get all the hate for these two young players. Collier had no rookie season due to injury. In his first season of action, he showed promise as a run stuffer and showed the ability to push the pocket from the 5T. I saw great potential and I think he's going to take the next step this year. He will be a disruptor in both the run and pass game. Flowers exceeded my expectations as a rookie learning and playing a new position. We had some coaching and personnel transitions in his next two years and some serious pass rush issues. I get that he had a down year, but he has looked good in preseason. I think he makes a big leap this year.

It’s all good, we will see what happens. We Draft a QB next year, not because Wilson is playing any different but because he can't play well in this system and wants out.

But this is his 10th year and he'll miss 4 games due to an injury.

That they didn't improve the defense this off-season. Would this be considered "unpopular"?

-Lost Shaq, KJ (#67 top 100), and J.Reed.

-Only added solid rotational guy Hyder, 34 year old run stuffer Woods, Blessuan Austin and Sidney Jones.

-Same Coordinator who's never led a respectable defense in his career.

They're praying unproven guys like Taylor, Robinson, Barton, Collier, Green, and the CBs can step up just to be a mediocre defense.

An injury free Adams should be back to having good coverage skills though, unless they just didn't/don't use him right.
