The first half of this game was unbelievably bad. It was a house of horrors.

Geno starts off throwing a pick, and then two 3 and outs.

We muff a punt for a turnover.

We allow 2 SAFTIES!

All of that in the first half. WOW what a horrible start!

What was the result? Through all of that the defense allows a staggering 9 points in the first half (13 total).

This defensive performance was incredible! Yes, it was against a rookie qb, however it seems that seattle makes rookies look like seasoned veterans for whatever reason. They made Nix look horrible, and I bet the donkeys fans have a sick feeling in their stomachs. I don't think he is a bad as Seattle made him look this game.

Seattle dominated the broncos run game also.

I'm claiming that this D is back baby!

I'm not worried about the defense at all. I concerned about the offense. I never mentioned this on here but told some people that if any part of the team struggles it will be the offensive side of the ball with Grubb's offense. I hoping it's just kinks.

I think it is. He adjusted nicely for the tackles and was on point the second half

It's interesting that as fans, we can notice things watching the game that takes coaches longer to notice. It was obvious running left wasn't working well but he kept doing it. Finally, he ran right an "viola" success! I think on one of the drives we ran right five times in a row for success.

This over simplifies things but I think it will take Coach a while to get into the whole game management and timing thing but it was a very good start, IMHO, to see him adjust in game.

Brand new system, new OC, OL that hasn't gelled yet. I am by no means predicting the OL will be good, but communication and knowing the guy to either side of you and their tendencies is huge. By game 6, if they are still trash, then I'll be worried.

Grubb has been an OL coach at 2 of his 3 previous employers. Let's hope he is good at getting these guys in shape. We don't have the cap to get proven OL, so we have to make do with what we have.

It's true, the oline especially is my concern. This time of year though the O is almost always behind D for every team.
Grub adjusted well, but he also had two possessions start on the one yard line, and the first possession Geno took a sack to start it. Once they got rolling though!
Progress. Can't wait to see what next week brings. I also noticed a lot more discipline. Some flags, Dk a couple, but cleaner all around game. Details!
