love the power he has, he blows up the TEs, sets the edge, and still has the agility/quicks to chase down RBs.
he's not a natural 5T, but i could see him as huge a 3-4 lb edge with the ability to move inside on pass downs. doesn't have the burst off the line that myles murphy has, but far better in the run game at this point. raw as a pass rusher. a raw physical presence. supposedly has a ~86" wingspan. for comparison, giannis antetokounmpo has a 87" wingspan. yeah.
a great 'consolation' prize if we don't get carter/anderson jr

I have a hard time seeing the fit in the defense right now. He's not a 5T, 3T, 4i. I don't think he's going to have the elite athleticism to play edge in a 3-4. He seems to really fit as a strong side 4-3 DE. Think Carlos Dunlap in a 4-3.
Yeah i think the same thing about him and Myles Murphy. Both seem more like 4-3 end to me.

exactly, but if pete carroll can't find a way to utilize a talent like this, he needs to throw his system/scheme/front in the trash.
jalen carter isn't a perfect fit for the 3-4, either. he's not a true NT or 5T, but it would be odd to pass on such a talent... you just find a way to play him in your front
