RENTON, Wash. -- Seattle Seahawks special teams coach Brian Schneider likes what he sees in rookie returner Tyler Lockett.
"Excellent, more than I expected in terms of him being able to track the ball and field the ball," Schneider said. "His work ethic is unbelievable. So he’s everything you’re looking for and we’re just excited to see him go.
"Tremendous ball skills, in terms of tracking the ball and catching it," Schneider said. "And then he’s so quick. You could see him on a couple quick screens here. He looks like a punt returner. He has a lot of skill."
The return game was a weak area for the Seahawks last season. Lockett also has looked good as a slot receiver in 11-on-11 drills during organized team activities and rookie camp. He easily has been the most impressive rookie so far in offseason workouts.

He looks stronger than I expected him to be, thicker and more muscular than Richardson.
