two weeks back to back on nationally televised games....

I am so pumped up for this. I am getting really spoiled this year. Already got to watch them beat the 49'ers and the Texans. These two games and the Saints game will make 5 for me being able to get the simple pleasure of watching in the comfort of my own home our team kicking butt. I have been practically frothing at the mouth for thursday night. These next two weeks, even if what would be considered by the casual fans as sub par teams, will still be a gigantic opportunity for the Hawks to make a huge statement to the rest of the league in back to back weeks.

That is why I tell my kids (1, 3, 5, and 6) if the want to like a different team they have to move out... :lol:

I'm nearly serious when I tell them. Can't stand the thought of trash-talking in my house. Bad enough having nephews an BIL who are D*ck fans.

I had to block my grandson on FB because of the whiner stuff and the anti-Seahawks stuff. So far granddaughter has gotten a pass because she isn't as bad as he is. Thank goodness mr dbmack is a 49er fan who is also a Seahawks fan or I would have to kick him out of the house.

He is from San Jose and lived there during the glory years. He has rooted for the 'Hawks as a second team for quite some time - except when they play each other - even before we got married and he moved here 17 years ago. If we beat them he doesn't get upset and he doesn't gloat when they beat us. He thinks the grandkids go overboard but he also says he was more like that years ago. He has mellowed out over the years.

No, actually I don't. He is so good about it so I extend the same courtesy. Inside I'm dancing around the room when they lose though.
