Kirby had a decent day... maybe he makes the trade Deadline? Apparently Luis, Emerson, and George were all available

Second straight quality start. Second straight game where the bullpen blows the lead. Second straght game bringing Munoz in. Moonie blows the save, but gets the win on Colt Emerson's RBI single in the 9th.

Some good things on offense. Cal with the 3 run dinger. Less swing and miss - sorta. Still too many Ks. Cole Young with a 4 hit game. Emerson with the walkoff single.

Shouldn't have been that close, but oh well. Bazardo getting less and less reliable. Ferrer, too, I guess. Maybe that new arm in the pen will help.

The Mariners had a 99.3% win probability going into the top of the 8th. Blowing that lead and game was a massive collapse.

The win probability flipped to the Twins before Munoz dug himself out of his hole.

And what the hell has happened to Bizardo? I'm not worried about Munoz. He has been money for the last month basically.
Bizardo has been BRUTAL for a couple weeks now.

Glad to see Emerson get a walkoff. I still say send him down, but he'll probably keep getting a chance after Brendan Donovan tears his labia this week walking out of the dugout.

Almost agree, but then who plays SS? Rivas is a decent utility sub, but do we want him playing full time?

Emerson was doing ok at the plate earlier. Back in the day, SS was a fielding position, not neccessarily a hitting position. He's actually been getting some contact lately.

Munoz and Spier are our only two high leverage arms that we can trust in the pen as of now. No idea if we are buyers or sellers, but if we do buy, please get an arm or two.

These last couple games put us back in that in between area, only 2.5 GB of the WC but we feel so far away as a team.

Assumption was JP would slide back there. Emerson's getting chewed up by curveballs and was apparently taught swinging restraint by 2025 Julio.

Here we go. Everything is Julio's fault. El oh el.
The ability by some to constantly go back to the same old blame game is impressive.
And he is one of MANY reasons this team has underachieved. MANY reasons.

It rained yesterday. Thanks a lot, Julio!
