Travis Clayton was drafted by the Bills in round 7 but he has not played a single game at school or college.

Grew up in England, playing soccer, rowing boxing and rugby before joining the IPP impressed so much he got drafted.

I know players like Max Pircher have joined teams via exrta practise squad places or as UDFAs but is this the first time an IPP player has been drafted?

Jordan Mailata, an Australian NRL 2nd tier player was drafted by the Eagles in the 7th round of the 2018 draft. He was part of the IPP and is now basically their crown jewel. Mailata had never played a snap before joining the program and has now gone on to earn 2 $65m extensions since joining the league as a LT.

I assume the Bills are trying to match that level of hidden gem with Travis as he too played rugby but not at an elite level. I would suspect Louis Reece-Zammit would too have been drafted this past draft had he not been eligible to be signed as a FA by KC.
