During the Pete era I would predict a mistake-laden sh*t-show for a game like this. With Mike I hope not. Also I'm going this weekend (first time in Seattle area since I moved in '21) so watch out for the Joe Jurevicius jersey. Where do I go before the game? Who can I barf on?

This isn't a trap game, or rather it shouldn't be. We are not a dominant, heavily favored team going into this game and we barely beat this same team just a few weeks earlier. Add to that the fact that we have not played well at home for some time and there's no justification for the players or coaches to look ahead to next week's Rams game.

Oh Geezus, here we go. Hawks have won 7 straight over the Cards. They ALWAYS take them seriously, no matter what the record is.

Side note, where are you gonna' pre-game, Slick? We should raise a pint on Sunday. My crew goes to King Street Bar and Oven, across from the North Parking Lot. 170 S. King Street. Been the go-to pre-game spot for decades.
First pint is on me.

Impressive performance last night by the Cardinals.

While I can't give Jacoby Brissett and their offense that much credit because they were playing one of the NFL's worst defenses, it was a surprise to see the Cardinals defense hold that Cowboys offense to one touchdown.

It won't be an easy game.

I tend to gravitate toward Temple Billiards

It just a short walk to the stadium, and often times.net folks can be found.

King for a couple early, migrate to Temple for the main event.

Best of both worlds

I looked at them as 3-7 so far this year so assumption is their a sh*tty team thus far division rivals be damned. But inspecting their scores this year everything outside of 2 games has been damn close so their a ball bounce or two away from being good.

Will check out King Street; again the Joe J. jersey is how to spot me LOL.

Current spread is Hawks -6.5, which seems excessive to me.

The TweetyBirds are a nuisance... but we have to deal with the nuisances in our lives... much like being bitten by a mosquito. You just have to kill the little SOB.

Brissett to start on Sunday. Should be interesting. He looked better than Kyler out there. Harrison Jr. and McBride should put up better numbers than the first time we played them.

The only TRAP is going to be the one laid by the Seahawks D on the FAR-LESS MOBILE Brissett.

Say all you want about the Red Smurf (Kyler) but he can move.

Jacoby is more of a pocket passer so there'll be opportunities for our Front-seven to get home and eat.
