But it isn't about getting all, it is about getting what they need and they have just as much chance as any other team with their loaded farm group. They chose not to which is fine. Missing out every year by a game or two is fine I guess.

They've had a good trade deadline. My POINT is that there are several teams trying to get the same guys. We can't get EVERY great player.
We got Naylor AND Geno. It IS ok to give them a little credit from time to time.

Why are you such a whinny bitch? Getting X player is exactly why we don't make the playoffs. I didn't think it was really that hard to figure out. But ya jerry is a genius. He traded for guys he should have traded for or kept before the season even started. But why do that when you can try and cling onto the last wildcard team.

I want Willi Castro and Jax. One hour 12 minutes. Why? Because castro can fill in at many positions when cold spells happen. Jax can pair with Ferguson.

I still think we need another high leverage reliever. Right now the only arms we trust come playoffs are Bazardo, Munoz, Spier and Brash. Ferguson seems more like a replacement for one of the back end guys like Vargas or Thornton.

Red Sox trying to get Joe Ryan. So the M's couldnt use him in the rotation? He would probably be their best guy right now. No Dhuran or any of the dozens of other relievers who were moved? The M's aren't serious. Picking up Geno was for marketing & vibes. Naylor was the "see we tried"..... They could've had him all season if they were serious in the off-season, but they weren't & it appears they aren't now. Not unless the grab a legit arm in the next 2 mins.
Unless some late announcements come in, that's it.
