thats enough
ADD....Bad Officiating to that list.
And before some folks say something dumb, like "We should have played better, so that those bad calls don't have any sway in the outcome of the games"...IF there are get enough bad calls/non-calls, it adds to the list that has been compiled, and that's extra hurdles that shouldn't even be in the way of a cleanly officiated game.

This might be the lamest excuse ever, in Seattle football history. Seriously. This is the rainiest climate in the country! What a joke.

we always seem to play sloppy in the rain. even though we have won rain games in the past it was usually not a good performance by the offense.

This game is 100% on the offense. Playcalling, gameplan, execution. What a debacle. We got pantsed by the Rams... AGAIN.

even with the TOs if any of the things I mentioned play out right we win. They did contribute though

Of course they matter.

There's plenty of blame to go around. On the play when RW fumbled when he should of tried to get out of bounds, was a bad play too. Surprised no one's mention it before.

Agree 100% Lymon. My buddy and I both said "get out of bounds" just as he turned upfield instead. Poor decision as we needed to save clock as well.

The ball literally did not bounce our way today. Just plain bad luck that we did not recover any of those fumbles on st louis winning drive. Plus we lose one deep in their own territory. 9 out of 10 times we will win this game when their qb passes for only 103 yards. Thats how the Pats lost to the Eagles. Plain fluky loss

This is a game that we will soon forget and shouldn't be over scrutinized IMO.

Rooting for the Vikings.. However, green bay is so one dimensional. Basically they have nothing outdoor off ARod.

As much as I don't like the guy...
A-Rod hit over 600 home runs and does not play for the packers.

Why..why did Wilson not get out of bounds on that play...??..He is usually very smart on plays like that..The only thing I could guess is he saw a big opening we didn't see.....And fcol lets throw the ball more instead of the many minus yard runs we did.....And the fumble recoveries...geeeezz...

When I compiled my list of reasons I focused on the things that were constant not one off. Well except for the Sherman TD. All the rest were through the game.

oline could not run block, or pass block
dline little to no pressure
penalties to many that killed drives
drops - 6 drops costing us 1st downs and more
no run game
play calling/design/execution
qb was having to try to do way to much
DBs giving up easy td(Sherman)
earl played bad

I am not going to lay the blame on any one off play that is why I did not mention the Wilson fumble, the lack of falling on fumbles. They are one offs. All the stuff above were constant through out the game. The reason I and probably no one mentions the Wilson fumble is because at lest he was trying to make a play, He, ADB, and Locket were the only one on offense that had any fire. You could argue the Fumble falls under the doing way to much. I am not going to second guess Wilson at this point given all the other issues, I to was wondering why he did not get out of bounds, but if you look at it if that guy doe snot come from were he comes from he very well might score. With the way things were going for us, he might have figured if I do not score something else might happen. If you look at the above I have oline first as they were the biggest issue.

Shocking that the biggest Wilson homer here won't knock him for fumbling and pretty much ensuring the game would end with a loss.

I agree with your other reasons for losing, but you can't say that Wilson fumble wasn't a major mistake on his part.

I never said it was not a mistake only said and I quote " The reason I and probably no one mentions the Wilson fumble is because at least he was trying to make a play, He, ADB, and Locket were the only one on offense that had any fire. No place did I say it was not a mistake just not a mistake that in my mind is a primary reason we lost. There were plenty of mistake not mentioned but they were in my mind not a reason we lost. I will almost never fault a player for making A mistake out of trying to hard. Given all he had to deal with, no, the same reason I did not single out some of the drops, some of the drops were by players who were balling, some were by players who were not. Wilson fumble is not even on my list of reasons we lost. A mistake yeah, but a reason we lost no.

A decent team came up on the schedule. Hawks didn't have a patsy to beat up on so they were screwed.

This is exactly what I was thinking too. Unfortunately there isn't any patsies in the playoffs either.

yeah I am not buying that Pitt is not a patsy. neither is Minny. They ran up to a team that is made to beat them and we just made to many mistakes, allowed our QB to be hit 17 times, could not run, to many penalties, tried our old offensive scheme of run, run pass for awhile, etc etc. Just a bad game. On a side note everything that could go wrong did and they bea6t us by 6.

Then add to those 17 hits, the cheap shot by the rams Defense when RW slid feet first to avoid just that kind of horse-shit play, and no flags????? Those Referees need to have their asses chewed out for their ineptitude.
Comparing the hit on the Rams Quarterback, which cost the Seahawks a15 yard penalty, and KJ Wright didn't even make minor contact ,and then try and convince me that the Referees weren't being one sided in their calls.
ALSO, Russell Wilson took a substantial hit to the head, causing him to cough up the ball on a fumble...THAT cheap shot to the head should have brought out the penalty flags on the Rams too, but instead, the Refs give it to them.....Pretty one sided Officiating.

The Rams schooled the Seahawks in a number of ways, but especially in pass blocking. I also don't understand the lack of "boom" from the LOB. The Rams have a no-name, mediocre quarterback and he seems to have all day back there to do what he needs to and we have Russell, who is elite or, at least, very near elite, and most of the time he doesn't have any time to even get set to throw, except hurriedly and on the run. It's a pathetic situation....

SO I have changed my mind, the biggest and main reason for this loss "THE OLINE" after relooking at a lot of plays they were god awful.

Cant run block
Cant pass block
Penalties
bad snaps(center is part of the oline)

Yeah oline main reason no doubt, I would put them 1 and 2 and 3 and 4 and 5 as the reasons we lost.

The Rams O-line seemed to also block decently on running plays. (I stand to be corrected.)

As for the Seahawks.

The rushing stats excluding RW's 39 yards are a total 21 yards, with the others combined. (True CM had a good run that was called back).

Cristine Michael had 6 carries for a total of 6 yards.

Playing the blame game doesn't exonerate everybody else. Russ would be the first to say that he missed half a dozen throws that he normally makes, ie. Lockett with an easy TD in the endzone vs. having to go through concussion protocol.

Players just have an off day sometimes but when most of our players were off I think it shows that something got into our heads a bit today. Part of it was the Rams chippy play, part of it was some close officiating calls that went the other way, and part of it did appear to be the weather. Pete's pressers this week should be interesting.

For some reason Fisher just ownes Pete.

Fisher is possibly the only coach who truly understands how to pressure a mobile QB without losing containment. He's also been given the tools to do it. The Rams have the best defensive line in the NFL, period. They're the perfect answer for Russell Wilson, and they happen to reside within our division.
