Chistine Michael was playing well and they took him out and he never returned. Injured?

Gave them the ball, too many times.
Yes, this^^^^^^ And couldn't do a very good job stopping them when they did have the ball.

What about the fact that we went back into the old philosophy of grinding out games with the run, there was alot of run run pass again and those runs couldn't do anything, so we finally started cranking it up in the 2nd half but it was too late. It was like hey let's go back to what didn't work and see if it works against this same team that had beat us before.

I thought this too, but thought maybe it was just me. I guess not and agree this was huge.

Lack of running game really hurt the Hawks today. The scrubs that have been treading water the last couple of weeks didn't do squat against a very good D line. This is what will again if the Hawks get a chance to play the Panthers in the playoffs. really need Lynch and Okung back.

Temps were just above freezing so that kinda explains why the players looked like their hands were freezing and they couldn't feel them. RW didn't even seem to notice he fumbled the ball on the last series. Earl Thomas played like he had no arms today, didn't grab the ball when it was near his belly and didn't rap up while "tackling" today.

A decent team came up on the schedule. Hawks didn't have a patsy to beat up on so they were screwed.

oline could not run block, or pass block
dline little to no pressure
penalties to many that killed drives
drops - 6 drops costing us 1st downs and more
no run game
play calling/design/execution
qb was having to try to do way to much
DBs giving up easy td(Sherman)
earl played bad
thats enough

dbs gave up easy Td?
Exactly!!
One TD!!!

HOW CAN ONE BLAME THE D???

It's easy to find the Defensive line at fault. No pass rush, no wins today or in the playoffs. If the Seahawks don't fix this they will lose their first playoff game on Wild Card Weekend. Plain and simple. If you can't get off the field on 3rd down, bad things will accumulate and eventually happen.

Because they were playing against case keenum and had zero sacks.

Unless one happened in garbage time i didn't notice

And one td was the difference between winning and losing today. No excuse for sherm to let a receiver run right by him.

In the first game fisher had his clowns do the same thing to Sherman, and beat him then too, but Richard got away with a blatant PI.

Playing blame the O, blame the D, is a lost cause. But to even insinuate the defense is blameless is positively false.

We lost because the Oline got their butts handed to them and out hustled as well. That was the root cause of the major problems we had today.

This is exactly what I was thinking too. Unfortunately there isn't any patsies in the playoffs either.

yeah I am not buying that Pitt is not a patsy. neither is Minny. They ran up to a team that is made to beat them and we just made to many mistakes, allowed our QB to be hit 17 times, could not run, to many penalties, tried our old offensive scheme of run, run pass for awhile, etc etc. Just a bad game. On a side note everything that could go wrong did and they bea6t us by 6.

Every home loss this year involved our opponent having 10+ days to prepare. Weird that we had to play so many teams coming off a bye or a previous Thursday night game.

Only one reason why we lost.

We scored fewer points than they did.

Zero sacks, zero QB hits.

Looks like there is plenty of blame to go around amongst both sides of the ball and the coaching staff.
